The Bagela model BA10000 asphalt recycler comes standard with a built-in municipal grade trailer (of appropriate size and capacity), so the machine is portable for on-site repairs. Machines can be custom ordered with a secondary frame instead of a trailer, for static positioning (mounting at a fixed site). The self-propulsion option (only available on machines with trailer) enables a machine to work independent of a towing vehicle at any job site.

The machine is capable of recycling either broken chunk or milled (RAP) asphalt at a job site or in a static position, with maximum production of up to 10 tons per hour. However, production can decrease if the material to be recycled contains moisture (i.e. millings RAP stored outside can have a very high moisture content prior to recycling). To maximize production (especially in winter months), we recommend the use of broken chunk asphalt materials (as it will not hold moisture as will millings RAP). This unit can also be used to reheat virgin hot mix previously not used.

It is not the function of the Bagela, model BA10000 recycling machine to produce new virgin hot mix asphalt. The machine recycles or reheats previously produced hot mix asphalt.

The quality of the asphalt may deteriorate due to various factors, including but not limited to, oxidation and contamination. An asphalt additive or rejuvenating agent can be applied during or after the recycling process.
